And very unorganized. The amount of errors and mismatched writing make this a very difficult read. I hate leaving things unfinished. Not worth the effort to read.
This is a paranormal romance with elements of fantasy. The main character Tom meets shape-shifters who introduce him to a whole new world. Meanwhile his girlfriend is having her own adventures in Paris. Although the beautiful cover looks like an adventure story, this is not a book for children. Adults only. This novella is part one of a series. Fun read!
Wow – it’s got everything. This was such fun. Rescued By An Alpha Part 1 by Celine Yorke is a fantastic paranormal adventure complete with romance and all kinds of hot action. I loved it so much I’ve already bought the next one, which I plan on consuming this weekend. There are sex scenes that should restrict this to those over eighteen, but this is more than just erotica. Well done. Recommended and five stars.
This book has shapeshiters, suspense, and romance, oh my! This is not my typical genre but the cover and blurb were interesting, so I thought I would give it a try and I was not disappointed. If you are looking for shapeshifter romance, then look no further than the Rescued By An Alpha series. I think I will definitely be getting the next one.
There is more to the Alpha than you may expect. I was captivated by the author’s ability to weave a love story that is leaves the reader wondering how they will overcome the life events that have separated them. The book was short but had enough substance to keep you going with a few different twists and turns. The characters are likeable and the chemistry between them was steamy - I’m definitely going to keep coming back for more!
I was disappointed. I'm guessing English is not this author's first language. I would also guess the author is very young. A potentially good story if rewritten to show more instead of telling. Her MC, Tom, came across sounding feminine and didn't show much emotion. Telling us he's afraid is not the same as showing him "heart pounding, lurching down the ladder into the secret room, slamming the door closed and leaning against the wall gulping air with sweat dripping off his brow." This author hasn't yet found her voice, in my opinion.
I loved this intriguing book. The cover caught me. The first chapter caught me. I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen with this couple in love. Author Celine Yorke did an amazing job of interlacing a fabulous love story filled with surprising twists. The characters were well fleshed out, and you won’t soon forget about Tom and Serena. If you like shape-shifters, romance, and exciting adventure…you can’t miss this one. Looking forward to the next installment of this series.
